Payment

We do our best to send your invoice as quickly as possible. If you like, your order can be left open for up to two weeks, so you can continue to shop and add items to your order. This way, the items you already ordered are reserved for you.

There are no extra fees of any kind. You only pay for the items and shipping. Orders of all sizes are welcome!

Payment is expected within 7 days after the invoice date.

Quality

Items that are marked as NEW have only been handled during sorting and packing. They have never been assembled, but very minor scratches are still possible due to parts rubbing against each other. The only exception to this rule is complete minifigures; those are delivered assembled.

Items that are marked as USED are clean, guaranteed to not be broken, have noticeable damage, or significant discoloration. If applicable, printed decorations or applied decals are in good shape. If an item does not meet these standards, it will be listed in that item's remarks.

I do my best to correctly list items with minor variations (so long as the BrickLink catalog makes the distinction), such as tiles with or without grooves, different versions of parts with clips, and so on. On occassion it may happen that a part gets listed as the wrong type; if that happens, you will be contacted before your order is shipped to ensure that the alternate version is acceptable to you.

Cash-on-Delivery

Within the Netherlands, Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is possible, however due to the extra expense (€ 18,35 for any shipment below 10 kilograms) and the limited added security (the delivery driver does not allow you to open the package before paying, so you cannot verify its contents), we do not recommend this option. However, if you do prefer this method, please send a message before placing your order.

Shipping

All orders are normally shipped within two business days after your payment has been received. Most orders will be shipped in a bubble envelope, or a small box which fits in your mailbox, and do not require someone to be home to accept the delivery. Orders containing many items, or large parts, may require a larger parcel.

Should your order take any longer than two business days to ship, for any reason, we will contact you.

If your order contains a mix of new and used items, they will be separated and clearly labelled. All items are packaged securely to avoid scratching or other damage during shipping. Special care is taken with items that are especially sensitive, such as clear pieces.

International shipments outside of the European Union may be subject to additional taxes and import duties upon delivery. In some cases, delivery companies charge a fee for handling an imported shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot predict these extra charges, and they are solely your responsibility. Please check with your local authorities, and make sure you understand which extra charges may apply. We will not declare a shipment as gift, or declare it as less than the actual order value.

We are not responsible for damaged or lost shipments. If possible, we will work with you and the postal service to track down your package. We always recommend shipping methods that provide tracking and insurance. You can select your desired option during checkout.

If you choose registered or insured shipping, the insurance will cover damaged or lost shipments up to either € 500 or € 5500, respectively. You will be required to sign for the delivery. If the parcel appears damaged, please make sure that the delivery driver makes note of the damage before signing for the delivery; otherwise, it will be very difficult to claim damages.

Shipping Cost

Please note that, due to packaging, the weight of the package will always be a little bit higher than the weight indicated by BrickOwl. Also, please note that the indicated weight can vary from the actual weight of the items.

If you are unsure about shipping costs, please send a message or request a quote before placing an order. Unexpectedly high shipping costs are not a valid reason for order cancellation.
